Her Daddy’s Away

     Nobody wants to read my book
nobody wants my autograph 
And then there’s Sadie 
     Nobody wants to answer my text
nobody ever calls me back
And then there’s Sadie
     Nobody has the patients for me 
nobody ever licks my feet clean
Abd then there’s Sadie
     Nobody knows how Sadie feels 
All she knows is that Life is real
And her Daddy’s far away
