Poem -

Her landscape by the sea.

Deep into the visions not told but seen,
Sits an old lady by the name of nardine,
Rocking backwards and forth,
Within her rocking chair,
Upon a porch,
Her landscape by the sea,
Remembering the past,
scripture's of her life that's been,
Feelings of love some unclean,
For love overwhelmed tomorrow,
Letting go all her sorrow,
A soul who met,
many a strong hand,
Never afraid or far to hold,
Within her writings the story told,
Before grey hair her body old,
Her heart still young,
The breeze is cold,
Memories moments,
from her to share ,
Upon the pages,
Turn with care,
Imprinted within her memories,
Still stand,
A life of friendships,
within hourglass sand,
As time waits for no man,
She turned the pages ,
within her own hand,
Gently writing without command,
Drawing her pictures,
Within the sand,
Her life left behind,
only faded,
footprints understand.
