Poem -

Her protestant heart lay rest with light.

Her protestant heart lay rest with light.

She tormented about the shadows, the doves and raven bird,

her protestant heart lay rest with light, and all loves empty words

She was not an angel neither had she wings to fly, but love had left an absence in her She watched the flowers die,

He was the only solution to ease away the pain, she smeared as if a sad reflection, in the pouring rain,

A painting of a lover torn, he was the darkest place, she battled with the anguish knowing She would fall from grace.

Being Me

Oh I love this!  It had a real "narrative" feel to it. I adore narrative poems. Pinned x
