" IN HER, year of seasons..."

I wonder what the day, brings her quiet confidence each day
I wonder if she considers the truth, about all that she surveys
Her vantage point is blessed, by coming from so very high
As though she were the planets, and I am Earthen sky
I cannot surmise a reason, for conversations or lullabies
For she is the gloriousness of summer, and I, October sky
It's a marvel to me now, that the God's have compromised
Allowed a perfect winter, to cover me in her velvet eyes
And with every passing season, I have grown to love her vernal glow
Even when the autumn leaves have fallen, and my feelings do not show
Perhaps i'll paint her portrait, and manifest it, from memories
It will be our seasons sonnet, with love upon it, flickering
Like the twilight candles, burning incense into our every thought
It doesn't matter, what different seasons bring us, cold or hot
She will always be my imagination, and the eyes through which I see
For she is all that really matters, when the year ends, my Cherie....
