Herbaceous love

Daffodils and dandelions
Lupins and cordelions
Down among the herbaceous borders
Following natures orders
Snap dragons and hollyhocks
Growing freely as honeysuckle runs amok
I see the beautiful peonies grow
Heads peering above the stocks
I love aubrieta and forget-me-nots
The passion I have have for plants
And watching as the lily’s dance
In a magnolia and wisteria grove
That’s the place where my energy flows.
