Here we go again ?

Yes my lovely Christmas tree, here we go again .. how pretty are your twinkly lights, flickered colours wax and wane.. I realise we have met each other annually for forty two long years, celebrating the birth of our lord God almighty joining in the festive cheers..you stand infront of our living room taking center stage, posing with your exquisiteness even though I know your age.. long in the tooth like me, yet noone could ever tell.. from your sturdy upright branches that adorns my decorations well

But you cannot hide your timelessness from me although you try, as I marvel at your beautification with a twinkle in my eye.. yes I adore your festive cheerfullness lighting up our little house, as we sit watching the television, myself and my spouse.. alas forty two years has passed us by since the first time that we met, I was a newly wedded wife back in those bygone days with memories of no regret.. so my little Xmas tree, you are the evidence of my life, from the year that I got married to my husband as his wife

I thank you my festive friend as you stand proudly with  pride of place, for giving me such Christmas joy and putting smiles upon my face.. yes we share over four decades and our age we cannot hide, but our photographs are there for living proof of happiness at yuletide.. so rest assured my Norwegian articial Christmas tree, we shall meet each other annually until the good Lord calls for me.. until the dreaded day departs us so let us pray that we will see, lots more years of festive frolicking for my family and ye
