HERE'S TO THE BRAVE

Here's to the brave who try to keep peace
Becoming more difficult as tensions increase 
Every day in the UK there is a stabbing of some kind
Reading and Glasgow come instantly to my mind

Here's to the brave they put their life on the line
This can't be right for sure or considered fine
What happened to respect for the boys in blue
I guess that last happened back in 1952

Here's to the brave trying to enforce the law
Can't be easy that's for certain and sure 
I just wish people would give peace a go 
Make for a better world for this I know
