Here's The Trick

Candy time has come around,
Once again this year,
And I for one,
Won't stand around,
Waiting for the goodies bowl,
To disappear.

I want them to earn it,
As I will simply enjoy this,
An actual trick or treat.
They have to choose,
Those goblin and ghouls,
Introductions to terror,
Is what they'll come to meet.

So mom and dads beware,
If its for your child's fragile mind,
You care,
Stay clear of the dark house,
Protected by the dead,
Treats come at a price,
Of tricks instead.
