Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek

Play a game of hide and seek,
Count to ten and do not peek,
First the count starts at one,
Now the fun has begun.

Then you hear the number two,
Not the time for peek-a-boo,
Quickly hide behind that tree,
Now the count is at three,
As you make it to four,
Someone hid behind the door.

Halfway mark is at five,
There's a bush, make a dive,
After five, here comes six,
Hide behind the stack of bricks,
Number seven is at last,
Hope you hide really fast.

Here the count is at eight,
Make a run for that gate,
Almost done, now at nine,
Do not get stuck in the vine,
Counts at ten,
Becomes the end,
Now the seeking has begin.
