Hide and Sleep (An Insomniacs dream)

Where hides sleep
are you watching me
are you deserting me
or tormenting me

Take hold of my soul
pull me into darkness
come over me
stifle my anguish

Where hides sleep
are you avoiding me
do you evade me
or do you torture me

Tossed into oblivion
swallowed by dreams
you steal away loneliness
or so it seems

Envelope me, comfort me
cover my eyes
take me through the night
to the distant sunrise

Just help me forget
help me to believe
to find you I need to know
where hides sleep ?
