His Purple Flower's Distraction
Spinning
When she heard the dead-bell ringing
She ducked into spinning pools of socialite sisters
Yes, I am a man, and also her sister singing
Believe no oaths,
Nor protestations from twisted drunken sisters
Your brave ringlets strong with wholesome hunger
And so now I sing,
Come sweet flower, be not afraid
Ribbons sometimes flow confusedly
When my little purple flower needs sweet civility
And friendships fine distraction
I and my sisters are here
Adorned in mauve
With open arms and hearts
Full of Love
Do pray, she never tells
Of secrets so deeply held
Her very existence
Dependent upon
This fine,
And most devious,
Distraction....
