Poem -

Hold the night.

Hold the night

His world was dark enough to view the star's
I lost count as I watched them burning,

His soul once mine now departed, my love for him still yearning,

I dreamt that light had made of him
Pretty Rose's of black and red,

And in my mind
I'd reached for him
Plucked from the heaven's undead,

Although such time keeps thee away,

and love I must he, night and day

Here in my own little world afar, catch his glance within a star.

Awaits, awaits my chambered heart
Where love is never
torn apart, yet stitched together with the light

Come the day, and hold the night.
