Hold Your Ground

Why should I have to change
Or pay in some way
To be confident you will stay
If i'm not what you want please walk away
It may take time but pain always fades 
Dealt with my share plus i'm too deep to stray
Feels like all I can do is pray
That or put love on delay
Both sound good but I want results today
Over and again in my mind it replays
Making my presence unsafe for those in my space
Because I tend to blow when things get this way
I explode and ricocheted
Burn bridges and dig graves
Along with sink ships by waves
If you get in the way 
Through you I will pave a way 
Because my dreams always get the right away

I'm determined
Never held back by burdens
I refuse to back down
I hold my ground

I will be successful
My instincts are special

I  know what i'm worth so I can never settle
Whose to say I deserve little or  lesser 
That I cant handle pressure ignored are my efforts
They predict my future while ignoring the weather
As if my heart plays no role but the truth will show
Its rhythms feed my growth in connection with my soul
I'm driven through my vision
Something no one can witness
Except for my response in description
But in no way could you measure these rhythms
That fuel my actions i'm filled with passion 
Despite the skeptics and laughter
More than their opinion my efforts matter
So I focus on the latter
And I climb up the ladder
I no longer hear chatter
I out lived their laughter
Now they want to be someone who matters
But nothings more important than the success i'm after

(Cant afford distractions)
