Poem -

in the sunshine

devils come sometimes
lit up by the sun
frolicking dragons
up high in the sky
I wait for the showdown
I wish god to come
with beard pearl white
with a huge holy gun

devils come sometimes
on days such as these, how
I wish god to come, how
I pray to him.... please ...

Unfortunately the world that we live in, is of good and evil.
we have choices to make every day.. I can see you using one of those choices.

Your emotion is rife, dear Marion, such a clever title, I was surprised yet most intrigued to read,  eventually I hope we all find some inner peace from what is making us feel so torn. A brilliant raw poem. 🌹

Being Me

The use of the sunshine in this poem makes the devils feel even more evil! God depicted as he is here, conjures up the feeling of old and wise and holy and loving .... but then he has a huge gun. The juxtaposition of good things and bad, of nice things and awful β€” makes this little poem swing with raw and confused emotion. And I love the dragons in it! I love seeing dragons up in the sky ... even of they are made up of clouds x

As you know...dragons are depicted still in many cultures all over the world along with many other strange mythical creatures...I think we can truly never know what existed before we ever did ...I choose to believe that they once did along with giants, little people, fairy, elves gnomes etc. Have you ever read Erik Von Daniken, Paul.Wallis and Mark LaCroix Tina...they certainly put firth an interesting spin on the genesis of mankind. Thanks love. Keep seeing dragons in the sky girl...I see them too πŸ˜ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ€©Β

Being Me

Dragons in the sky. Hobgoblins in the banks beside the smelly ditches of forgotten byways; fairies around, and in,Β  the trees; giants among the hillsides and mountains strewn across the distant horizon;Β  elves in the spare room ... they are among us. What magic there is in this world for those of us who believe in the power of stories xx

And stories...like rumours... always have some truth in them. I believe dragons and other creatures once lived...and that earth was probably seeded from outerspace. Brian doesn't agree but I forgive him cos he is a gorgeous bugger and a beautiful soul lol..πŸ™ƒπŸ™‚πŸ€©πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
