~ HOLY SURFER ~
I spied a dimpled star, in the heavens
As though a bejeweled telescope spoke to me
Of the common thread, running through all things rare
Such a small space they occupy in time's canopy
A dimpled smile, amid a momentary flare...
What a wondrous sight, to dance upright, in night
As though a golden telescope caught the tail of a comet
And afforded me, as a witness, an uncommon delight
A surf in the night's sun, and I, a rider upon it
A night surfer, riding the wave beyond twilight...
Forever transformed, my soul did break apart
As though an evolved telescope, spied each DNA strand
And the great over-soul, redirected it all through my heart
Where I became a holy surfer, riding in divinity's hands
Boldly diving into, the original black hole of art...
And, anticipating that glide
As a holy surfer,
A surfer upon adrenaline
In its
Most natural form,
And while
Truly,
Appreciating the ride,
And the beauty
In it all,
I came,
To know,
Myself...

Another fabulous poem, Tony. The universe is something very special indeed. As we are all made of stardust (or do I read somewhere), I find this poignant that you speak of stars when finding yourself. Awesome ink that sparkles like the stars in the heavens x

Another poem of epic proportions. You're still one of the few I try to aspire to. You manage to somehow avoid the every day topic and escalate it further to a higher plane, your plane. Brilliant Tony!

Your amazing creativity is evidenced by the amount of other gifted poets, who have pinned this masterpiece. You get more of them than a "pin cushion".(you know that I never can resist some humor, to illustrate the genius of your intellect) I shall make a feeble poetic attempt to recreate your thoughts.
I hang ten on the surfboard, that glides me through the sea
Each wave is undulating, as I learn the makeup that is me
I am traveling into the Universe, introspective and aware
That soon I'll find life's meaning, hidden well out there
