Home Again

To go home again

would be such relief

The memories i have

are oh so sweet,

The green grass and hills

I am longing to see

The mountains and streams

and even the trees,

I recall as a child

the good times we had

and now and again

I recall the bad,

Running and playing

in the morning dew

I'm sure you recall

as much as i do.

Climbing the trees

and fishing all day

in memories i go back

and wish i could stay,

I miss those days

of so long ago

the sun shining bright

and the fresh fallen snow,

Those days are gone now

but I remember them still

and in my heart

they remain there still.
