Poem -

Homeless

Open eyes, these white walls are my prison and I'm getting tired
The scriptures behind my eyelids speak of murder
With my heart like a dagger slowly loving you to death, completely taking your breath
With lungs like hurricanes crashing away the life of yesterday and I'm left hoping to hold your hand again tomorrow, because I've missed you

This isn't about being alone, its about aches inside your bones reminding you of home (Where the heart is)
and the heart of the matter is that I'm homeless without you Ill find you again…
Ill hitchhike rides from corners of your lips, because your smile always gives me the lift I need and I need you again
I can say I love you to the moon and back but darling my telescope has me gazing stars in every galaxy for you
I'm sorry I got lost in the space…
Pick pocketing the parts I wish I could steal away
The parts of the past we plea to rearrange
A homeless mans echo…wishing for some change
