‘Hooray to the Housewife’

Having many irons in the fire with never enough hours in the day, this is a housewife’s work load come what may....as a self-taught cook, she has learned from her Mother the tricks of the trade to feed & fill one another
She plans her everyday chores as she is lying in her bed... the one & only time she gets peace to organise her thoughts in her head...from the moment she awakes her kids call out her name... she’s a ‘Jack of all trades’ always needed what a shame....
But that’s just the way things are when one is a Mother, forever at a beck & call with not the least bit of bother....after washing the dishes from the breakfast, taking the children to school... she may sit & make herself a cuppa coz this woman is no fool, then it’s off to the supermarket with her long list in her hands trawling thru the shopping aisles to buy the sensible cheapest brands....
With just enough time to make her something a snack after she’s driven home to bring her necessities back... then she hoovers, dusts, cleans the cat litter tray, prepares tea for the family... it’s just a usual tedious day....
‘Hooray to the housewife, with her abundance of capabilities....such an inconspicuous genius achieving all her responsibilities....to every Mother in the universe, Oh how we salute you.... there is not another humankind that could do the things you do!!
