Hope: A Feeling of None

And I noticedĀ 
That in the end of it allĀ 
Nothing lastsĀ 
The flowers wilt and dieĀ 
The leaves decayĀ 
The ground rots as we walkĀ 
Nothing is ever the sameĀ 
As the newborn cries as it takes it’s first breath of lifeĀ 
The mother closes her eyes, taking one final breath of life
As one life is born, another must goĀ 
In the end nobody can escapeĀ 
Young or old, small or tall
Death will become usĀ 
And we will fade into the nothingness
The nothingness is home
