Hope springs eternal

Hope springs eternal

The spring breeze rushes into my eyes from some godly unknown, vague, end of the rainbow source,

Casting it's sudden silky spider's web of disarray throughout my eyelashes,

Where in the past I would not have been able to see the sun,

But I fight back with force, taking everything in, the silent and subtle strength of a recharged battery,

And the sun beams like a proud mother,

After something innocently wonderful has been achieved,

New beginnings, a fresh start.

Both craving adventure and the comfort of my old jeans, the old habits I used to keep,

In my back pocket,

Along with my iPhone,

And bits of old rubbish,

I now no longer find meaning in.

New horizons collect above me, in my mental visage,

They are cast onto the picturesque scene I currently reside within,

A new life;

Breath into renewed and recharged lungs,

Ready for the summer 'hype',

The business, but also calm collectedness...

Of my mental chatter.
