Hopeless

She grabs your throat with words but the choking feels the same she drives a stake right through your heart and expects you to take the pain she says youβre a man why cant you handle it and before I can seem to answer sheβs hitting me again Iβm lost with thoughts Iβm lost with anger Iβm exhausted Iβm confused because you yell at me when I try to please you doesnβt matter what I do. Iβve tried to breathe but your air is poison you say itβs always all my fault Iβm just a staircase you try to walk but wonβt ever take the fall I canβt see color on a sunny day because youβve imprisoned me inside contemplate on ending it but Iβm still standing at your side Iβve beat myself from the words youβve said Iβve buried deep within but youβve forced the monster out of me constantly saying you need to think again and one day I finally thought and concluded to reality that it wasnβt me who had it wrong no itβs you whoβs bad for me.Β
