HORROR OF OPPRESSION

The horror of oppression is taking place 
Seems to be taking over the human race
Done with violence and a mask on a face
Trouble is happening at a frightening pace 

Why should people fight to express a view
Another way is needed is certainly true 
Banish fists and guns my advice to you 
Try peaceful protests to break through 

One world is all that we have I know 
As tensions are starting to grow and grow 
Be friendly to one another and say hello
Let's bring peace to the status quo
