House of Words

If you wanna write
You gota try hard
Think of your mind
As some playing cards
Now build a house
Using your deck
Carefuly placing
cards on there edge
But they
keep falling down
So you learn
how to bend
Just like the
words
You so perfectly
meand
Now its starting
to stack up real neat
Feeling so proud
Untell a slight breaze
Your house fell down
but the words are still there
So you pick them up
and put them in pairs
This time its better
little bit stronger
You took your time
And it took a bit longer
After you build
a thousand card houses
You start to wonder why
They always fall down
So why do i put
my self to the test
Always end up
in an old mess
all the words
Worked well at home
But where they belong
is really alone
So outa respect
and just to be fair
Instead of
trying to bend words
Ill just relax
And play solitare

Super!
I really liked the metaphor of the deck of cards and how it pertains to life in general. We take chances in life; we create new works that we gamble with. I liked the form and the imagery the best. So glad I found your poem.

I took this stanza to mean, how we find balance in our life. Or, how we have to go with the flow sometimes to make life's little ups and downs bearable. Nice job.
