HOW CAN THAT BE?

So many miles between him and me

and yet I feel I know him how can that be?

Why do I feel that he is so close

 that of all men I love him most?

Why do I want to spend my life with him

 he has not been to my door so I could let him in

Apart from a photo I have not seen his face

why do I feel that we have embraced?

How could this happen apart from Gods own hand

there are so many who would not understand

We do and we feel each other near

with our connection there is nothing to fear

When God joins together no one can part

 they may try but have lost from the start

I thank Him for joining our too lonely hearts

I know that with Him and each other we’ll never par!
