How close is thy breath of life,
To my heart beats in times,
For my eyes behold, a secret held deep in sorrows.
How close is thy breath of life,
To the sights of my mind,
For my eyes see, troubles hidden deep within.
How close is thy breath of life,
To love that was never mines,
For my faith, is praised of waivered grace.
Seek mercy in Whom gives,
For my love in thee, has wither in your retreats.
