How Does It Feel?...

How did it feel,
when I kissed your soul with mine.
when I entered your subconscious,
did memories of me travel down your spine.
Did it tickle your heart strings,
lighten the dark spots of your past,
was my spirit worth sacrificing for all the copper and stones.
The one's you used to break my bones,
as words are said not to hurt you,
but still cause pain,
when the happy moments felt in reality became a figment of your imagination.
Was it easy to use someone who never used you,
was I too good to be true.
This child of the universe,
sensitive, fierce and free.
But still only gave herself to the one who ride the waves of love and live life filled with wisdom and laughter.
To powerful for many to handle.
A flame that cannot be put out,
a fire that will always keep on burning.
So how does it feel,
when you let this light slip into the darkness?.....
