HOW FREE CAN WE BE?

We understand what understands us,

therefore how free can we be?

We dream of things that avoid nightmares,

therefore how free can we be to dream?

We welcome the perpetration of games of learning,

without experiment, allowing intuition to guide,

therefore how free can we be to grow?

We set forth to predict the difficulties of a world,

based on its advancing our interests, or repelling us,

therefore how free can we be to be objective?

We set policies based on what others need,

therefore how can we be in touch with what we need?

We establish imbalance in virtue of what makes no sense,

therefore how free are we to be irrational?

We are free to discover things we cannot relate to,

therefore how free are we to draw connection to the disparate?

We are free to pay for everything,

therefore how free are we to be free?

We are free to inquire and question, primarily purposively,

therefore how free are we to wander without aim?

How free can we be?
