How i'm feeling

I feel like i’m drowning on dry land,
like losing breath it's so cold where I stand,
a shadow of the man, that once felt like I was the man.
Form is temporary, state of mind is crucial,
If handled wrong it can end up brutal, it's always best to be truthful…............
with your own feelings and thoughts, from lessons learnt and taught,
battles won and fought. I'm responsible for my own life so is this my fault ?

Haha I laugh at the devil's desire to inflict sadness and depression,
trying to place my soul in a false sense of oppression, feeding an aggression,
that doesn't truly exist , my clenched fist,
is a sign that the lion inside me still roars and persists,
to take the light from a dark situation must be my gift,
the smell of defeat simply a mere whiff, overpowered by the overbearing Will power that I sniff.
Not defined by circumstances, or succumb to the stances around the things that I take up and give,
the bad energy in my life I forgive, for once a boy now a man I shall continue to enjoy the life I Live,
I thank those close to me for the fun times and the life that I have lived.
