How Long How Far

Meeting you has made me so very happy, at

present  I'm walking on cloud nine

Seeing you lightens my heart, that in the night

when dreams appear, it's you that makes the stars

shine, and you that wakes the sun in the morn,

in time to greet a new day

Being with you brings me happiness, here

and all around

How long were you waiting to be found

Soon you will be leaving, I wish I could reach

out across the miles of space that separates us,

just to touch your face

And I wish my eyes could see as far as I would

need, to read your eyes, to once again to see your

beauty, already engraved in my mind

It doesn't really matter, because my heart is big

enough, and strong enough to reach out and touch

your soul

To shorten any distance, wherever you might be
