HOW LUCKY I AM

Appearances can be misleading that's what I say 
Don't be quick to judge as you go about your day
Treat everyone as an equal and please be kind
The person that doesn't will be left far behind 

Putting some loose change in a poor person's pot
Doesn't sound much but would mean such a lot
Stop and be thankful for the things you pocess 
The world's less fortunate is what we need to address

I don't have much but am comfortable for sure
Don't want to be greedy by always wanting more 
I have a bed to rest and I have food to eat 
Clothes on my back and shoes on my feet
