How Much Is That Puppy?

How much is that puppy in the window? The one that just smiled at me;

For I think he is so priceless, I’d like, for him, mine be!

I promise I will love him, for I know he’ll love me too;

And we’ll spend lots of time together, and fun things will we do!

Like after I have trained him, we’ll walk three times a day;

And he’ll make lots of new little buddies; that live not far away!

And we’ll go on lots of bye-byes, for I know so many stores;

That I can wheel him in a carriage, and bring him through their doors!

I also know of restaurants, that “doggie friendly” are;

So we’ll share some lovely dinners, sometimes sitting under stars!

And at night when he gets tired, he’ll sleep atop my bed;

For I’ll place his little pillow, next to where I rest my head!

He’s going to have a great life, I’ll be sure to see to that;

I’ll feed him lots of health foods, so he never will get fat!

I know he’ll be my soulmate, as I know I will be his;

So, how much is that puppy? For it’s time to do some biz!
