Poem -
Huff n Puff
I've seen it..
all my life..
the huff and puffers..
Who " think ' they're working..
on the edge of their life..
they sweat and grimace..
subside and extinguish..
and I plod along..cool as a cucumber.
and they think they got my number
But, it's my policy .you see..
the worlds spinning at 1000 miles..
My speed I'm not increasing ..
I can do all of that and piles..
and still keep my shallow breathing
without huffing and puffing ..
making it look hard work..
it's hard with a huff n puffer..
I think I need a break...

Some people do like to make mountains out of mole hills, don't they! Swans work really hard swimming against the current and yet they look serene and graceful. I endeavour to be like the Swan. Love the theme of this poem, Pauline x
Being me, it's happened to me over the years, hate to say it, it's usually with people who are vertically challenged...bless them, I love that vision of the swan against the currant, it's in my brain now majestically.. only those who know what we mean know what we mean.
