Hunger of motive

My motivation paused, esurient for more.
You redirected the path I so vigorously ran down before.
Now I catch my breath I've been holding for so long.
Where do I truly belong? 
My escape no longer in sight,
You have changed my thoughts inside.
No one can see,
These changes taking place in me. 
Like chocolate I'm left hollow.
This is hard pill to swallow.
You leave a ravenous taste on my tongue
And from my run a hurt in my lungs
I need more
But of what? I'm not sure
My purpose misplaced 
With this dilemma I'm am faced
