HUNTERS WASTE
It's for the rack...
It's for the game...
Maybe, the best prize in a tournament's call...
The animal killed and the best parts removed...
A new trophy to be hung on the wall...
You don't take it for a seasonal meal to nourish the family or those suffering in hunger...
Its lifeless body lays to rot...
The buzzards zone in for the lot...
Hunters waste...
A trophy placed...
Hugs...

I don't think I made the hit parade with hunters...
I live in hunter/huntedย country...
We get alot out-of-towners...
The things that we see here is the mess they leave behind...
Then they brag about it as they leave town...
Kids that reach the age of hunting have no respect either...
Just standing next to their proud Dad...
I have never understood the killing of a scared,ย harmless, andย innocent animal as a sport and reward only to be shown and bragged aboutย as a trophy...

heard some shots last evening and my husband says hunting season. I say poor deer.

Many people hunt for food...
They help people who are struggling...
That's one thing...
But, when they just take what they want and the meat is left behind...
Other animals get sick and...
It brings in dangerous predators and...
You see an animal blown out like that and the head is missing...
It's terrible...
I see people in tears because they're hungry and...
It's heartbreaking that's for sure...
