HUNTING THE WHALE

HUNTING THE WHALE

A hiker went walking the other day
On a remote beach at Mason's bay
One hundred and forty five whales were stranded on this sand
Something this distraught hiker could not understand

These whales became stranded trying to escape a hunters gun
A barbaric sport which is hardly fun
It's inhumane that these whales should die
The hiker who found them still could not understand why

It's upsetting what one person or persons should do
Whales deserve to live just like me and you
They try to escape by taking a wrong turn
When will these hunters ever stop and learn
