HUSH

HUSH

Hush now, little one
Nothing here to fear
The dark is friend
And Nana's here
Embrace now
This days end
Listen to the quiet, child
Look deeply into dark
Feel the comfort of the
Nothingness
Settle now, relax
For
You may feel them
If you're lucky
These spirits of the night
They do not come
To hurt or harm
They do not come for fright
No
They come to offer riches
They will calm you with their voice
They'll sit with you
And hold your hand
Soothe you gently into trance
They will lead you into
Other
Only sweetest dreams for you
And tis there
That they will play with you
And laugh with you
So do not harbour care
Night is not to fear
Tis daylight is our curse
For that is when most evil
Does its dirty work
So
Hush now, little one
Be peaceful child
For soon
You may hear the stars
All twinkling
Hear the music of the moon.
