HUSH NOW...

dropping them all now...all
gone, one by one
watching them fall now ...away,
far off, done
the sea rushes in but I don't
hear it rush
though I feel it recede, take
them all, one by one
dropping them all till there's
nothing to go
watch them dissolve in the
sea, nice and slow
the breeze soothes my hair
and the sea whispers hush
a cold fills my lungs till my
heart freezes numb
nowt left to weigh me, all gone
one by one
away to the sea now, away, far
off done
the sea rushes in but I don't
hear it rush
i'm lost to the space of the
vast ocean hush...

I think my understanding got washed away, but I love your style and these words Marion!...........................Jim
Hi Jim...well.it started off as letting troubles slip away on a beach...always a go to place....but it ended up as a kind of suicide I think...how did THAT happen...lol...thankyou my friend 🤗
PS...I'm posting one tomorrow about killing faeries, don't read!!! It will traumatised you 😆😆😁🤩
Come on, I think I can handle faeries! lol! Now I get your poem and it makes perfect since ! love it!....I'll just open one eye when I read about the faeries!..........Jim
😆😆😆
Very interesting ending though no clue tells why is "all gone" "one by one".
Hi Yiyan...just means letting go of troubles and worries 'one by one' ...thanks 🤗🤗
This is a smashing poem to me. Calming tone that suits your message extremely well. I just wish it was that easy though... For me it's like chipping away at a growing boulder making sure it doesn't get too big. But love the sea analogy too! Best wishes Marion! Your friend Max
Oh Max...I have that boulder too....in truth, what I have discovered during my life so far is that nearly every other human being on the planet has a 'boulder' too...it feels heavier or lighter depending what is happening in life at any given time that's all. Thanks love 💕
Brilliant.
Thankyou for reading love, appreciated 💕
When reading this I "saw" a lonely figure at the waters edge dropping petals in to the sea...but the petals were of memories and promises and disappointment and not from a flower. This is what came to me when I read the poem x
Wow Tina!! When writing this that is exactly where my mind was...thankyou!!! 😘😘
You conveyed your thoughts exceptionally well, then! I am also a visitor to the waters edge. Hugs x
