Husk

Bonfire Potato

Twenty five years young
Going strong
Sex, drugs, alcohol
The occasional whiff
Of a soda bottle bong...

40 years old... Inbetween
Not enough words in the alphabet
To describe the things I've seen
Take me back
I wanna go there..
To the wasteland of plentiful youth
Please take me there!

I'm a burnt out shell of my former self
A charred husk
A bonfire potato caked in ash and dust..
Smother me in butter
Quench my lust

I must stop writing when I've had a drink 😆. I forgot I'd posted this last night. I'm in the process of writing something much better....that's if I ever get it finished.
