Hyperventilate

It might come as a surprise to you,
Im not in the greatest shape,
My balance I start to lose,
Think im going to hyperventilate.
I can't feel my breath pulling in,
Therefore I know it's not exhaling out,
Someone help me crawl out of my skin,
Put a bag up to my mouth.
Everything sinks to the bottom,
Down below a very recoverable hidden message,
As the captain unfortunately I smell something rotten,
Only cowards try to salvage what's left of the wreckage.
Is it nervousness,
Even the fresh air makes me seasick,
Get ahold of yourself before you confess,
Its all in your head calming down does the trick.
Everything has gone awry,
Only hope can keep us afloat,
We Rhode this ship of lies,
And in a moment it capsized our boat.
I'd rather drown then attempt to swim,
Some kind of happy ending impossible to recreate,
The waters infested with circling fins,
With lungs full of water no longer do I Hyperventilate.
