Hypocrite

Pin prick eyes of light,
Stare down on me this night,
Staring, knowing my shame,
As I, myself defame.
Helpless I watch the hour pass,
My own stupidity I surpass,
My mouth preaching peace,
A lie that I cannot cease.
My fists fluent with violence,
Of pious fraudulence,
Makes my eventual fate,
No better than what I hate.
How can I rise above,
When my heart is hate not love?
When one wrong makes a right
And a left picks a fight.
Millions of tiny eyes...
From the dark, stare at my lies.

Specs of conscious dust,
Born from darkness
In life...till death,
In a fleeting moment...

Knife twist

Cold whetted steel
Pierces my heart,
As she twists the blade
And sadly smiles.

Rays of warmth and light...
Swallowed whole, in abysmal bleakness.
Continuous loathing fight...
