Hypothermic Suppression

The cold has teeth,
It's biting at bare skin,
Mr. Freeze lurking at the door,
Waiting for it to be opened,
And come creeping in.
Frozen pain,
Numb extremities,
Frosty brain,
Give me anything that remedies.
Blood slows to crawl within veins,
Fatigue settling in,
Wafting over in euphoric waves,
Can't help but give in,
Then back comes jaws of Jack,
Frost bitten with such sin.
Curled into a ball,
Resembling the look of a curling fist,
Possessed by cold forcefully eyes close,
But not before I pray for one wish.
Rekindling consciousness life retained,
My wish served for sacrificial cost,
A phantom feeling upon limbs,
The way I go still remains,
O happy limitations I walk not nor write,
Hands and feet are lost.

Thanks T here in Philly we haven't gotten any ridiculous amounts of snow yet tgis year but were experiencing record low temperatures that hasn't been felt in 21 years and its no joke. Hypothermia is a rough way to go. So stoked you enjoyed it i have never been a fan of the cold.
