Poem -

27

I am 27,
why do they tell me I'm older?
They think I'm as old as 80,
I just don't understand.

Yes I struggle to walk,
but it's not because I'm older,
I had an accident a while ago,
playing football with the lads.

Can't explain the wrinkles,
my skin does feel quite dry,
I'll need to have a soak,
when I go home today.

My daughter is not older,
She's just a little girl,
the lady who just visited,
isn't anyone I know.
