I am depression
I am the darkness
Even when theres light
I am your nightmares
That keep you awake at night
I am your phoebia
I always give you fear
I am the devil
That evil voice in your ear
I am a silent killer
I make people take their lifes
I end peoples marriages
Killing husbands and wives
I have no limit
Or age restriction
I attack young to old
I turn people to addiction
I make you turn to medicene
To numb you from the pain
I make you take medicene
Because you feel your going insane.
I control your thoughts
And where you go
I control your life
And make you feel low
Im invisble to the eye
My name is depression
I love to control
Your every expression

Thanks for your great and positive feedback. I'm new to the site and its been a while since I've wrote a poem so I thought my first of many on here should be on a topic a lot of us can relate to. I felt it was a little rushed but sometimes simplicity works better.
