I Am So Sick And Tired

I am so sick and tired of bullying in schools.                                                                  

 I am so sick and tired of the name-calling, the hate, and the rumors.                                

It is tough being a teenager; too young to be an adult too old to be a child.                      

But you’re old enough to realize that another student’s head is not your egg to crush in your hand I’m so sick and tired of it.

Their harsh words back you into a corner of sadness and fear.                                          

They just want someone, somewhere to stick up for them and be on their side,  

   Because what they need is a friend to help them fight the battle; they can’t fight it alone.

They need to know that someone cares about them.                                                        

That someone somewhere is sick and tired of bullying too. 

Someone, somewhere feels the same way.                                                                

Someone, somewhere wants something to change.                                                        

Society cannot just stand and watch any longer!                                                            

 Something needs to be done, and it needs to be done now!

I am so sick and tired of watching the news;                                                                  

 Seeing that a teen has taken their life due to the hate of others.                                    

 It makes my stomach twist in knots when I see it on the screen.                                     

Nobody deserves to be in that much pain and sorrow.                                                    

They deserve to be alive because this is only a bump in the road, and they need to see that;                                                                                                                        

Things get better.

Someone needs to stand up now for someone else.                                                      

 Someone needs to make a change now                                                                       

 Bullying is an epidemic that needs to be stopped in its tracks.                                        

 Someone needs to stand up and scream: I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF BULLYING.
