Starry, starry night ⭐️

I promise to cherish it forever and keep it safe in a little glass jar

Wow it could light up my bedroom and shine from afar

And I would serenade it with symphonies strumming on my old guitar..

If only you could be so kind to drop your sparkle from the sky

Just one solitary shimmer from that canopy so high

Well this would mean the whole wide world to me, I cannot lie

My heart would be so overwhelmed that I think I could cry..

So as I stand all alone scrutinising up a-height

Wondering and wishing with all of my might

In amidst those shady shadows of that pale moonlight
