Poem -

I am the Storm

I look into the storm and see myself

I imagine my form and wonder what's left

Has the wind and fury exhausted itself

Where the rain and thunder can no longer be felt

The electricity in the sky is no longer there

The drive in my eyes has turned to a blank stare

The goodness in my life was whisked away

And now I look around and see nothing but grey

The storm in my soul is puttering out

But the seasons will change and again the thunder will shout
