I find that it is in the depths of me that you reveal me to myself
What I am, what I have been, and what I have become inside myself
I am NOTHING
And I never knew it
Left to myself, I am but a zero, filled with so many shortcomings
But when you shine your light on me a divine sense of belonging
I am filled with strength and the joy of simply knowing
That my imperfections are showing
It blows me away to realize that you even take the time
To lift me up and embrace me, breathing fire into my mind
Even though I have committed the very worst of crimes,
My SUICIDE
I am but a zero, who has drowned in the heaviness of his sins
It is your love that has ignited my soul and my love of ALL men
Though I am unworthy to receive anything good, nevertheless
You have held my hand and held me to your chest
I am but a zero who's received the precious gift
Of a single breath

Tony this poem caught my eye because of the common theme and title i often refer to myself. No matter what good i do there is forces all around me that bring me back down but it is my family that keeps me in content allowing me to cope as a "zero." Great write.

It is really something i enjoy is reading other poets writings it inspires me and gives me ideas but it is very hard when i have so little time and i have only been on cosmo for a few months it can get overwhelming sometimes seeing how established you and other poets are on this sight, but ill continue to read as well write tony my friend.
