I bring you sunshine.

I Bring you sunshine,
I bring you me,
I bring you the northern lights,
Shining blue,
Purple,
Turquoise and green.
I bring you everything you could ever need.
I may not be rich,
And don’t have a job,.
As if I had my way,
Cheffing was/is my calling.
I’d still be doing my usual,
 18 hours a day.
I hate how my cancer came along,
And how its destruction,
stole half my life away.
I’m a shadow of my former self,
But I’ll still bring you sunshine,
When the skies are grey.
I’ll still be by your side,
When others sway,
No matter the cause,
As long as you stay.
I’ll be here forever.
I’ll be here always,
In everything I do,
In every single way.
I’ll get through this patch i know it,
So really no need for such dismay.
My joker cards on the table,
So Come on jester,
Bring it on,
Let’s play!

I’ll bring you sunshine, 
When others run and hide.
I’ll bring you the suns rays,
When it’s cold and miserable outside. 
I’ll bring you fire,
If you have the hearth,
Then from out of the ashes,
 there’ll rise a new dawn,
For us all,
A new earth.
A new chance for everything to blossom,
 and return to summers bloom.
A new world for our kids to grow up in.
Without the threat of a nuclear boom.
A place where we can all flourish.
Hopefully that time will come.
Hopefully that will be,
not Later,
But rather soon.
I’d bring you anything,
To make you smile from within your foggy mind,
Filled with gloom.
I’ll take you to another realm,
Even to the moon.
Anything,
Just to see that frown,
 turned upside down.
The world as we know it,
Is the start of a new evolution!
People laughing and smiling,
All across the nation...

I’d bring you eternal smiles,
That would everlast.
I just won’t let my life,
be run by my past.
My illnesses are nothing to me,
Even though,
Within me,
They will everlast.
So I put it all to the back of my mind,
And sit back,
As I’ll forever be smiling,
and having a laugh!
