I come as bough.

I come as bough, with limbs of strength
firmly I withstand the wind
( Each leaf, a brief description of time, as passing by they fall )
Still I stand tall, with great courage
I sway, a little by the way
But hold fast to the ground beneath, within the light of day
And under the moonlight
Become the host
Of haunted dreams, there by a ghost
Within the shadows the creatures play, full and lively with eyes of prey
In tunes, and echoes out of sight, creatures fair
And there delight
To capture here in woven park, a shadow of play
there after dark
The luminous voices long to be heard
A muttering owl, the coo'ing bird
Each shadow a chill, just like the breeze
I stand to withstand
the cold, at ease
I come as a bough, I'll never break, with strength and courage
I stand
And like the ghost, I am the host with limbs of leaves each strand
And as they fall, I count them all, and watch them where they land
Listening to the echoes the calls, the night owl and his prey
until the sun ( there has arisen,) shedding light upon my way.
