I COULD NOT SEE NOR HEAR

I COULD NOT SEE NOR HEAR

I was conceived on a Saturday afternoon
I was born one month too soon
As a result I could not see nor hear
I would burden my parents for many a year

Imagine not hearing pretty birds sing
Not seeing beautiful sky is a terrible thing
I adapted to these disabilities the best I could
I was a fighter it was in my blood

At 21 it was all becoming too much
When all you had was feel and touch
On a summer's day my life would change for the better
When through the post I received a letter

My parents would be rich if they assisted my suicide
On a Friday night they assisted and I died
